Interesting Fact: The newest test procedure from the EPA uses a hand-held diagnostic computer to determine whether your emissions controls are working properly. The EPA connects to the vehicle computer system and retrieves data to determine if you pass or fail. Also, if your Service Engine Soon light is on, the vehicle will fail automatically.
